Gross yields in Germany slightly increased. Due to lower property prices, Berlin apartments now yield an average of 6.2%, reaching more than 7% for 30-50 square-metre (sq. m) apartments. Apartment prices are at €2,192 per sq. m.
Frankfurt and Munich yields are also higher averaging 5.7% and 4.5%, respectively. Rent prices in Frankfurt rose to €13.3 per sq. m from €10.45.
While both property and rent prices in Munich city centre dropped, the decrease in apartment prices are greater from an average of €4,396 to €3,574 per sq. m. | | |
