Yields are around 6.6% to 8.3% for apartments in Pest, Budapest, the centre of the rental market. Pest lies to the right of the river, and contains the financial/business centre of Budapest. Buda, on the left of the river, is generally the green and hilly district of Budapest. As a general rule, most expats with families choose Buda, and singles/couples go for Pest. 2 Districts 5, 6, 7, and some parts of district 13. 3 Districts 2 and 12 are the most prestigious areas. District 12 is the home of the President and the Prime Minister among other political luminaries. International schools are located in these districts. 4 Budaors, Torokbalint, Diosd, Erd.
